Position Description – Senior Associate, Real Estate Transactions
LSL is seeking experienced a real estate attorney admitted to the New York bar with specialized expertise in commercial leasing and other transactional matters. Key responsibilities for the roles focus on but are not limited to:
- Draft and negotiate complex agreements related to:
Commercial leasing
Real property acquisitions and dispositions
Joint ventures and investment structures
Condominium and cooperative formations and transactions
Construction, design, and professional services contracts
- Advise on corporate governance, private equity, and real estate financing (mortgage, mezzanine, debt, and equity structuring)
- Support clients with real estate development, land use, and entitlement matters
What you bring to the table
- 4 years of transactional experience with a focus on leasing
- Admitted to the New York bar
- Ability to take ownership and run a transaction from start through completion
- Strong work ethic and intellectual curiosity
- Creative and practical lawyering

- Competitive compensation: $175,000 – $250,000, depending on experience discretionary bonus performance-based bonus based on billable hours
