Position: Food Service Supervisor
Location: St. Joseph Hospital (4295 Hempstead Tpke, Bethpage, NY 11714)
Shift Information: Monday-Friday 5:30am-2pm
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversees and assist with management of dining operations.
- Plan and lead daily team briefings.
- Ensure safety and sanitation standards in all operations.
- Maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationships.
- Demonstrate excellent customer service using standard service model.
- Adopt all Lessing processes and systems, understand performance metrics, data, order and inventory trends; educate teams on key levers to improve margins.
- Create value through efficient operations, appropriate cost controls, and profit management.
- Responsible for training and supervision of team members regarding production, quality and control.
- Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees.
- Comply with all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, and wage and hour.
Qualifications:
- Requires at least 2 years’ experience and 0-2 years in a management role.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience desired.
- Barista/Sandwich Prep/Cashier experience
- BOH Certified
