Position: Forklift Operator

Primary Job Responsibilities
- Operating a Forklift and/or pallet jack to load and unload trucks, organizing materials in designated areas and general material handling responsibilities.
- This includes performing a pre-check of all equipment and reporting any issues with management ASAP.
- Ensuring that materials are organized and safely stored. Giving extra attention to rotating products based on expiration dates.
- Pulling and staging products based on daily orders.
- Inventory responsibilities (ex. counting materials, rearranging storage areas, etc.)
- Monitoring product quality, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
- Operating various pieces of equipment (Forklift, Palletizer, Handtruck, Pallet Wrapper, Electric Pallet Jack, etc.).
- Maintaining a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
- Utilizing a continuous improvement mindset and assisting in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Previous warehouse/manufacturing experience, preferred
- Previous certification in forklift operation, preferred
- Comfortable speaking Spanish, preferred
Working Conditions
- Loud, busy fast-paced manufacturing/Warehouse environment
- The job requires you to be on your feet for up to 8 hours
- The environment contains airborne oil and seasoning particles
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
