Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing a positive first impression and guiding them to their tables with enthusiasm.
- Manage restaurant reservations efficiently using advanced table management systems, ensuring optimal seating arrangements and waitlist flow.
- Coordinate with the kitchen and service staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages, maintaining high standards of guest satisfaction.
- Oversee guest relations throughout the dining experience, addressing any concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a memorable visit.
- Supervise host/hostess staff, providing training on phone etiquette, customer service skills, and restaurant protocols.
- Handle phone communication with clarity and professionalism, managing reservation inquiries, special requests, and guest feedback.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor
- Demonstrated customer service skills with a passion for guest relations and creating positive dining experiences.
- Basic math skills for handling bills, reservations, and POS transactions accurately.
- Familiarity with food safety standards and restaurant operations to ensure smooth service flow.
- Organizational skills to manage multiple tables, reservations, and guest needs efficiently under pressure.
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality environments is highly preferred; restaurant experience is a plus.
