Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Drywall Finisher as a HIRED GUN for small, detail oriented projects. This is on a Project by Project basis.
You will be responsible for finishing drywall surfaces to create smooth, polished walls and ceilings that meet project specifications. Your expertise will ensure the highest standards of craftsmanship, safety, and efficiency on every job site.
This will include some patching and ending with small area Level 5 Finish.
Duties
- Apply drywall compound (mud) to seams, corners, and fasteners using hand tools and power tools to achieve a flawless surface.
- Tape drywall joints and sand surfaces for a smooth finish, preparing walls for painting or texturing.
- Install drywall panels according to construction plans and schematics, interpreting technical drawings accurately.
- Perform drywall repairs and restoration work, including water damage remediation and mold remediation when necessary.
- Texturize and finish drywall surfaces with various techniques such as skim coating, stucco, or specialty textures to meet aesthetic requirements.
- Follow all construction workplace safety regulations and safety protocols to maintain a secure environment for all team members.
Requirements
- Proven experience in drywall installation, taping, mudding, texturing, and repair within a construction setting. Experience with LEVEL 5 Finish.
- Some knowledge of blueprint reading, construction plans, schematics, and interpreting technical drawings a value but not necessary.
- Familiarity with construction estimating processes and understanding of building codes related to drywall finishing a plus but not required.
- Skilled in using hand tools (trowels, knives), power tools (drills, sanders), and specialized equipment for drywall work. NO DUST SANDING OF SMALL AREAS.
- Knowledge of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
- Experience with related trades such as carpentry, plastering, masonry, flooring installation, or remodeling is a plus.
- Ability to work efficiently on construction sites with a focus on quality craftsmanship and safety compliance.

Pay: $25.00 - $70.00 per hour
