The Role
The Customer Success Specialist – Billing Operations provides exceptional service to both internal and external customers while supporting the day‑to‑day success of our Billing Operations and Accounts Receivable functions.
Working closely with the Customer Success Lead – AR & Billing Operations, you’ll manage billing setups, invoicing, payment processing, and account follow‑ups, while serving as a subject matter expert for US billing processes. You’ll collaborate cross‑functionally with Customer Experience (CX), Finance, Legal, and global stakeholders to ensure accuracy, compliance, and a seamless partner experience.

Working closely with the Customer Success Lead – AR & Billing Operations, you’ll manage billing setups, invoicing, payment processing, and account follow‑ups, while serving as a subject matter expert for US billing processes. What You’ll Do
In this role, you will:
- Draft partnership agreements and set up billing across all customer types
- Manage daily billing and AR support cases with speed, accuracy, and care
- Generate, review, and issue timely and accurate invoices
- Process incoming payments and reconcile customer accounts
- Monitor outstanding balances, follow up on past-due accounts, and escalate delinquency when required
- Support monthly billing cycles, including specialized invoicing, data cleanup, and partner communications
- Maintain data integrity through audits, reconciliations, and Salesforce documentation
- Act as a subject matter expert for US billing and AR processes
- Collaborate with CX, Finance, Legal, Sales, and global teams on contracts and billing matters
- Build and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Lead or support ad hoc projects and process‑improvement initiatives
- Step in flexibly to support urgent priorities and business-critical needs
You’re successful in this role when:
- Billing, invoicing, and AR KPIs are consistently met or exceeded
- Invoices are accurate, on time, and error-free
- Outstanding balances are proactively managed, supporting healthy cash flow
- Internal and external partners regularly praise the quality of your service
- Strong, trusted relationships are built across CX, Finance, Marketing, and global teams
- Systems and processes improve over time due to your insights and initiative
- You model Les Mills leadership behaviors and encourage others to do the same
You bring both technical skill and a customer-first mindset, including:
- 2 years of experience in billing operations, accounts receivable, or finance support
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with financial data
- Experience using Salesforce or a similar CRM
- Familiarity with Adobe Commerce (Magento) preferred
- Confidence communicating with customers by phone and email
- Clear, professional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
- Comfort working to deadlines in a fast‑paced, high‑volume environment
- A proactive, solutions‑oriented approach and willingness to roll up your sleeves
