Heating Air Conditioning Technician

Responsibilities

· Perform inspections, repairs, part replacements, and preventative maintenance on residential and light commercial equipment

· Diagnose and repair a variety of HVAC brands and systems

· Respond to both scheduled and emergency service calls

· Participate in our on-call rotation as needed

· Keep your company vehicle stocked, organized, and in good working order

· Communicate clearly with dispatch and customers, keeping them informed throughout the job

· Collect payments in the field and work within our company’s pricing guidelines

· Take part in ongoing company training on customer service, technology, and advanced service techniques

Qualifications

· At least 2 years of HVAC service experience (Required)

· Hands-on experience installing, servicing, and troubleshooting oil burners in residential or light commercial settings

· A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record

· Your own basic hand tools and trade tools (gauges, shop vac, refrigerant scale, etc.)

· A professional appearance, great communication skills, and fluent English

· The ability to work independently and get the job done right the first time

· A high school diploma or equivalent

· The ability to handle the physical demands of the job (lifting, climbing, working in heat, and maneuvering in tight spaces like attics)
