We are seeking two experienced and reliable Surveillance Investigators to join our team on a part-time, as-needed basis. Position Type:
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Part-time / As needed
- Opportunity for future W-2 employment for qualified candidates that demonstrate exemplary performance
Compensation:
- $20–$30 per hour, depending on experience
- Four-hour minimum per assignment
- Mileage reimbursement
- Equipment kit fee provided per assignment
- Memory cards and data storage reimbursed
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct covert surveillance in support of investigative cases
- Capture high-quality video and photographic evidence
- Maintain detailed, accurate field notes and reports
- Operate discreetly while adhering to legal and ethical standards
- Adapt to diverse environments and extended surveillance periods
Minimum Requirements:
- Active Georgia Private Investigator license in good standing
- No pending investigations with the Georgia Secretary of State or licensing board
- Valid Georgia driver’s license with a good driving record
- Must be a United States citizen
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Minimum of 1 year of surveillance experience (investigative or comparable field)
- Minimum of two professional references from prior employers
- Strong observational and documentation skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize workload effectively
- Professional-grade surveillance equipment required, including:
Camera with telescopic lens
Discreet recording devices
Other standard surveillance tools
(Cell phone recording alone is not acceptable)
- Ability to work flexible hours, including:
Day shift
Night shift
Overnight assignments
Weekends and holidays
Preferred Qualifications:
- Member of GAPPI (Georgia Association of Professional Private Investigators)
- Prior military experience
- Prior law enforcement experience
