We’re looking for a highly organized Project Manager who enjoys being the go-to person throughout a project’s lifecycle — from kickoff to installation to punch and close-out. You’ll be the steady point of connection for clients, partners, and internal teams, helping ensure everything stays on track.
What You'll Do:
Client & Account Management
- Serve as the point of contact post-sale, guiding clients through each project stage with clear communication, timely updates, and a professional, problem-solving approach.
- Manage all required approvals, signoffs, and documentation while representing Lerdahl’s values in every interaction.
Project Planning & Coordination
- Define overall project scope and lead coordination across dealers, manufacturers, internal teams, and third-party partners while providing technical guidance to support informed client decisions.
- Develop detailed project plans—including scope of work, schedules, logistics, and installation strategies—aligned with client goals, field measurements, and all project requirements.
Project Administration
- Maintain thorough project documentation, including decisions, revisions, and change requests.
- Ensure timely written communications and accurate record-keeping related to scheduling, receiving, contract adherence, and project timelines.
Project Implementation
- Coordinate work orders, deliveries, installation logistics, and day-of execution.
- Partner with Field Operations team members as needed to support a smooth on-site process.
Order Management & Close-Out
- Monitor shipping and delivery timelines to ensure they align with project expectations.
- Oversee punch lists, verify project completion, manage close-out requirements, and ensure all invoicing is timely and accurate.
What We Need:
- Experience: 5–10 years of project management experience in commercial interiors, construction, design, furniture, or a related field
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred; PMP certification a plus
- Work Environment: Ability to support occasional extended hours, on-site visits, and light physical activity (5–30 lbs)
- Professional Strengths: Strong communication skills; ability to coordinate across multiple teams and vendors; highly organized with solid time-management skills; comfortable using project management software; calm, adaptable approach in fast-moving environments; and a solid understanding of business processes, project profitability, scheduling, and logistics.
