Senior Software Test Engineer
LER TechForce is seeking a skilled Software Test Engineer to support the design and development of material handling equipment. JOB LOCATION:
On-site in Columbus, IN
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
- Review System requirements and provide feedback
- Develop test scenarios and test cases based on system feature requirements, architecture designs
- Execute Software Test Cases on vehicle and bench set-ups.
- Analyzing test data and evaluating the results
- Troubleshooting system issues (e.g. power, harness, set-up, etc) and bugs
- College, university, or equivalent BA or BS degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Software Engineering.
- 5 years of experience in related roles.
- System/Software Testing Methodology
- Knowledge/Experience in Black and or grey box testing at either module or system level
- Testing experience in CAN communication, system and or bench level testing
- Good communication skills both verbal and written
- Basic Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)
- Experience in Python programming language. Ability to modify the testing scripts as per test requirements
- Testing experience in automotive and or embedded systems background
- Network/Connectivity experience (Ethernet, wifi, Bluetooth, Cellular)
