What are the responsibilities and job description for the Engineer – Calibration Lab position at LER TechForce?
Are you looking to work for a company that provides an innovative work environment and values collaboration? We are seeking two Logistics Engineers to support a Calibration Lab team within a leading automotive OEM.
This is a great opportunity for a recent engineering graduate or someone early in their career with internship experience in engines or powertrain systems.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Coordinate and generate work orders between Calibration Engineers and internal teams
- Support day-to-day lab operations by ensuring proper communication and workflow execution
- Track and manage work requests using internal systems and tools
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, lab personnel, and other departments
- Assist in organizing test activities, parts movement, and documentation
- Maintain accurate records and reporting using Excel and PowerPoint
- Ensure clear separation of responsibilities when working alongside union-supported teams
What You Will Need to Be Successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field (recent grads encouraged to apply)
- Basic understanding of internal combustion engines and major components
- Exposure to engine systems through coursework, projects, or internships
- Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings (preferred)
- Familiarity with basic lab tools (e.g., multimeter) is a plus
- Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

- First shift schedule (7 AM start)
