Job Title: Cheese Maintenance Group Leader
Wage Scale: $44.78 (Break in rates and $0.75 cents differential pay from 6PM - 5:59AM applies)

General Summary:
Group Leader is responsible for overseeing and directing the crew performing troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Ensure daily scheduled plan is being followed and facilitated.
- Ensure all Maintenance Techs have achieved 80% of their planned work hours for their shift.
- Performs area walk through of dept to ensure daily work is being conducted.
- This includes tracking of repairable(s) and the disposition process.
- At all times, operate in a manner consistent with safe operating procedures.
- Responsible for providing direction to the crew and equipment in accordance with Company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Responsible for fabrication or modification of equipment to Leprino specs and standards.
- Responsible for the installation of new or used equipment.
- Responsible to promptly respond to any equipment break downs or downtime when applicable.
- Responsible to assist in shift coverage when applicable.
- Responsible for all repairs to plant equipment. Able to prioritize work.
- Responsible for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by Manager or Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must demonstrate knowledge via standardized maintenance questionnaire.
- Welding skills including: arc, tig, mig, and oxy/ace.
- Ability to design, layout and fabricate.
- Ability to read blue prints and P&ID drawing.
- Ability to work well with outside contractors.
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
- Knowledge of proper safe use of hand tools.
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Demonstrated leadership ability. Lead by Example.
- Demonstrated strong commitment to safety. Knowledge of GMPs.
- Must be able to fulfill physical functional requirements of position per ADA
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills. Computer literacy.
- Multitask and decision make.
