At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role is ODLP 1 General Labor Rate ($24.50).

Summary Description:The ODLP General Labor position monitors cheese quality, adding back and/or bulking off cheese, inspection of product for extraneous, and assisting operators.

Job Description:

• Follow all applicable safety rules and regulations.
• Monitor product and product packaging to ensure quality standards are met.
• Responsible for the operation of the processing conveyors in accordance with the company Standard Operating Procedure (SOP).
• Properly clean and sanitize all equipment following good manufacturing practices (GMP's)
• Responsible for inspecting product to ensure quality
• Perform housekeeping and other daily duties as required.
• Communicate effectively with co-workers, Leads, Supervisors and Managers.

You Have At Least (Required Qualifications):

• Must be minimum of 18 years old.
• Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.

We Hope You Also Have (Preferred Qualifications):

• Some manufacturing experience and knowledge of the Dairy Industry.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities/Competencies:

• Ability to speak, read, and write the English language.
• Ability to repeatedly lift up to 50 pounds throughout the shift.
• Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs.
• Ability to understand and apply standard operating procedures.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and comply with all applicable safety practices.
• Ability to work any shift, weekends, holidays and possible overtime.

Working Relationships:

• This position reports to the Production Manager.
