Role Description The Hardware Software Engineer role is a contract, on-site position based in Castle Rock, CO. In this role, the engineer collaborates with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test hardware systems and the software that interfaces with them. Daily responsibilities include working on circuit design, integrating hardware and software components, troubleshooting system issues, and optimizing performance and reliability. The engineer also documents designs, participates in design reviews, and supports deployment and maintenance of hardware-software solutions.
Qualifications
- Candidates should possess skills in Hardware Development and Computer Hardware.
- Candidates should possess skills in Circuit Design and Electronics Hardware Design.
- Candidates should possess skills in general Hardware and system integration.
- Experience with embedded software development, firmware, or low-level programming is beneficial.
- Familiarity with testing tools, debugging techniques, and hardware documentation standards is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience.
- Ability to work collaboratively on-site, communicate clearly, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
