Responsibilities
- Package and accurately label a variety of meat products for distribution
- Weigh, portion, and prepare cuts according to order specifications
- Assist butchers and processing staff in meeting daily production targets and maintaining workflow
- Maintain a clean, organized, and USDA-compliant workstation at all times
- Communicate effectively within a diverse, multilingual team
- Follow all USDA food safety, handling, and sanitation standards
Requirements
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and a positive team attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment
- Capable of lifting 30-50 lbs and standing for long periods
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions carefully
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred but not required
- Previous food handling or packaging experience preferred
