Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of designated areas to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats
- Monitor CCTV and surveillance systems to observe activity and respond promptly to suspicious behavior
- Enforce security policies and procedures to maintain a safe environment for employees and visitors
- Respond swiftly and appropriately to incidents, emergencies, or conflicts, utilizing conflict management skills
- Provide first aid or CPR when necessary until emergency services arrive
- Assist with loss prevention efforts by observing and reporting theft or vandalism
- Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches
- Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents or investigations
- Conduct thorough inspections of premises to identify safety hazards or security vulnerabilities
Experience
- Prior experience in law enforcement, military service, or private security is preferred
- Certifications in first aid, CPR, or related emergency response training are highly desirable
- Experience with surveillance systems such as CCTV is advantageous
- Demonstrated ability to handle conflict situations professionally and effectively
- Knowledge of security protocols, loss prevention techniques, and legal regulations related to security operations
- Strong observational skills with attention to detail in high-pressure situations
