1st Shift General Laborer

Position Summary:

The General Laborer will support metal fabrication operations with precise part prep, basic equipment operation, in-process inspection, and material flow. This role requires strong attention to detail, safe work habits, and the ability to follow written specifications in a fast, clean, and organized environment.

Essential Functions:

• Equipment Operation: Safely operate basic shop equipment and hand tools.
• Inspection: Visually inspect parts for defects (cracks, pits, incomplete welds) and report issues.
• Material Flow: Move and stage product to the correct areas with accurate identification.
• QualitySafety: Work to established quality standards; follow all safety procedures and housekeeping (5S) practices.
• Coordination: Prioritize tasks and communicate with management; support teammates as needed.
• Other Duties: Perform other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to speak, read, and write in clear English
• Completes work in a timely manner Is consistently at work and on time
• Treats others will respect and consideration regardless of their status or position
• Observes safety and security procedures; reports unsafe conditions

Education:

• High School/GED
• Experience in manufacturing preferred, but not required. We will train the right person.
