What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Driver/ Music Shop Assistant position at Leonards Music?
Leonards Music LLC is looking for a dependable, energetic team member to join our growing staff!
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, based in Bedford, MA.
Responsibilities
- Deliver and pick up musical instruments and equipment between our Bedford retail store, our Billerica repair facility, and more than 30 local school districts
- Safely operate a Ford Transit 250 cargo van
- Clean and prepare musical instruments and instrument cases
- Pick, pack, and ship online orders
- Assist with general shop duties as needed
Qualifications
- Clean driving record
- Comfortable driving a full-size Ford Transit 250 van
- Reliable, punctual, and organized
- Able to lift and carry musical instruments and shipping boxes (up to approximately 50 lbs.)
- Friendly, professional attitude and strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong communication skills
Experience with musical instruments is helpful but not required—we are happy to train the right person.
