Job Responsibilities
- Involved with the analysis, design, development and implementation of new and/or existing systems/sub-systems. May include Architectural Design, Requirements Engineering, or others. Determine system specifications. Support acquisition of hardware and software (or subcontractor services as needed).
- Support engineering with routine engineering duties and/or hands-on tasks
- Work independently on daily tasks
- Review project instructions and drawings to ascertain test specifications, procedures, objectives, test equipment, nature of technical problem and possible solutions, and to support the design for manufacture
- Under direction, set up and conduct tests of units and components
- Analyze test results related to the design and test objectives and adjusts equipment to bring within specification; record these test procedures and results, numerical and graphical data, and recommendations for changes in product or test methods
- Assist in the creation of documentation to maintain equipment
- Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or Master’s program in Systems Engineering
- At least two years of academic experience with a GPA of 3.0 or higher
- Ability to work effectively independently and in a team
- Strong, pro-active problem-solving skills
- Ability to support a 10-15 hour per week, onsite schedule
- Cameo Systems Modeler, MagicDraw or equivalent experience
- INCOSE certification preferred
