The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in compliance with DRS standards and best practices. This role is critical to monitor and control program execution working with the Project Manager and Project Engineer.

DRS is seeking an experienced Microsoft Project Scheduler in Huntsville, AL to support U.S. Army program(s) within our Land Electronics defense portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) in compliance with DRS standards and best practices. This role is critical to monitor and control program execution working with the Project Manager and Project Engineer.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) using Microsoft Project
- Build and manage Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) in accordance with statement of work
- Map schedule activities to the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) events, accomplishments, and criteria
- Define and validate task dependencies, constraints, milestones, and critical/driving paths Integrate subcontractor, vendor, and Government Furnished Equipment/Information (GFE/GFI) delivery schedules into the master schedule
- Perform Critical Path Analysis (CPA), near-critical path analysis, and schedule margin assessments
- Conduct schedule health assessments using industry-standard metrics
- Identify and report schedule risks, float erosion, and logic issues
- Generate Contract Data Requirements List (CDRL) schedule deliverables on time and in compliance with contract requirements
- Prepare schedule briefings for Integrated Program Reviews (IPRs), Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and customer engagements
- Support Earned Value Management System (EVMS) implementation and surveillance
- Integrate schedule with the cost baseline to produce a time-phased Performance Measurement Baseline (PMB)
- Calculate and report Schedule Performance Index (SPI), Schedule Variance (SV), and To-Complete Schedule Performance Index (TSPI)
- Support Integrated Baseline Reviews (IBRs) and Over Target Baseline (OTB)/Over Target Schedule (OTS) actions as required
- Assist in developing Estimate at Completion (EAC) and Estimate to Complete (ETC) schedule forecasts
- Bachelor’s degree and related technical training with 5 years directly related experience (or equivalent combination of education/training and experience).
- Microsoft Project certification is highly desirable.
- Project management experience in government/DoD sector is preferred.
