Job Responsibilities
- Oversees and coordinates daily operations at multiple shop locations, ensuring that all tasks are performed efficiently and to the company’s quality standards. Manages the work schedules and assignments of shop personnel.
- Plans, organizes, and monitors ongoing projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Addresses any issues or delays promptly and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Inspects completed work for quality and adherence to specifications and company standards. Identifies and addresses any defects or areas for improvement.
- Leads, trains, and mentors shop personnel, promoting a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Conducts performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback.
- Ensures all shop operations comply with safety regulations and company policies. Conducts regular safety inspections and training sessions to maintain a safe work environment.
- Manages inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure all materials and equipment are available and in good working condition. Optimizes resource allocation to maximize efficiency.
- Addresses and resolves any operational issues, personnel conflicts, or technical challenges that arise in the shops. Implements innovative solutions to improve processes and productivity.
- Maintains clear and effective communication with shop personnel, upper management, and other departments. Provides regular updates on project status, operational issues, and other relevant information.
- Travels regularly between shop locations as needed to provide on-site supervision and support. Flexibility and willingness to travel are essential for this role.
- Stays informed about industry trends, best practices, and new technologies. Seeks opportunities to improve shop operations and enhance the company’s overall performance.

- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or construction environment, preferably in the shed building or truck accessories industry.
