Local CDL Class A Truck Driver

Job Summary
Seeking a Local Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A Truck Driver to join our team. In this role, you'll be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers and various specialized trucks. You must be experienced in driving flatbed, roll-off trucks and use of forklift to load and unload trucks.

Duties

• Safely operate tractor-trailers with manual transmissions and other specialized trucks such as flatbeds, and roll-off trucks to transport freight efficiently.
• Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment, including forklifts when necessary, ensuring proper handling and securement of freight.
• Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to verify vehicle safety, including checking brakes, lights, tires, and load securement.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and cargo details, in compliance with federal and state regulations.
• Follow all safety protocols and traffic laws diligently to ensure personal safety and that of other road users.
• Other factory duties as assigned.

Skills

• Proven experience in truck driving with a valid CDL Class A license.
• Familiarity with manual transmission trucks and operating various trailer types including flatbeds, and roll-off trucks.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures—loading, unloading, securing loads.
• Ability to perform detailed vehicle inspections and maintenance checks independently.
• Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and compliance with transportation regulations.
• Physical ability to load/unload freight manually or using equipment like forklifts when required.

Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour
