Packaging Specialist Job Purpose:
The Packaging Specialist, is responsible for the boxing, detailing and palletizing our products. They must follow lean manufacturing practices, including standardized workflow, and complete units within scheduled timelines for shipping commitments. They must be able to balance a fast-paced work environment while maintaining the highest quality standards.
The packaging specialist is responsible for maintaining station tools, cleanliness of bench surfaces, and schedule 5S audits; they are encouraged to make suggestions on how to maximize standard work flow and cycle times. They are also expected to develop a daily assessment of damaged work in progress and report findings to the Zone Team Leader or Supervisor. They are accountable for the quality of all builds, end-of-line packaging, and in-process production.
Packaging Specialist Job Duties:
- Stacking and arranging products onto pallets. Maybe required to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Train in and rotate through each position on the line.
- Understand and follow standardize work.
- Practice 5S and LEAN principles.
Requirements:

- Ableto work 40 hrs./wk plus weekends if needed.
Reporting Duties: The Packaging Specialist has no managerial duties and reports directly to the Zone Team Leader.
Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $17.50 - $19.00 per hour
