Host/Front of House Assistant

We are looking for hosts to join our awesome Uptown Marysville team in providing exceptional service to our customers. The right person for this role will be outgoing and friendly, passionate about people having a great experience dining out, and be ready for a fast-paced, full-service, team-oriented environment.

You create the guests' first and lasting impression.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Greet guests promptly and in a professional manner.
• Answer phone calls, take reservations, and take-out orders over the phone and enter into Toast system.
• Use Toast system & tablet to check in guests with reservations and seat people
• Guide guests through the process of being seated, presented with clean menus, and offering any suggestions or heads up for a great experience.
• Oversee table maintenance and coordination of service with fellow team members. This includes: bussing and resetting tables.
• Support organization, cleanliness, and safety of the entire space.
• Appropriately communicate with management and other service staff regarding guest needs or incidents.
• Run food as needed for servers and kitchen team.
• All other duties assigned by the management team.

Qualifications:

• Be able to be at work on time and ready to jump right in.
• Be able to communicate and understand the English language.
• Must have a basic knowledge of dining room and service procedures and functions or be willing to learn.
• Ready and willing to be part of a team-based environment by helping with cleanliness of the dining room, running food, doing side work, and helping out wherever is needed.
• Be comfortable using a tablet and service industry interface (Toast)
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 5 hours).
• Be able to safely lift and easily maneuver trays frequently weighing up to 20 to 25 pounds.

Base pay is $11-$12/hr plus tips

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $12.00 per hour
