Role Description This full-time, on-site Advanced Practice Nurse role is based in Miami, FL. The Advanced Practice Nurse will provide comprehensive primary and specialty care to an adult and older adult population, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up. Daily responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and developing evidence-based care plans in collaboration with physicians and interdisciplinary team members. The role includes managing chronic conditions, providing preventive care and patient education, coordinating referrals, and documenting all care in the electronic health record. The Advanced Practice Nurse will also participate in quality improvement initiatives, contribute to care coordination across settings, and support a culture of safety, empathy, and respect for all patients and colleagues.

Qualifications
- Current, unrestricted Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) license in the state of Florida, with appropriate national certification (e.g., FNP, AGNP, or similar).
- Strong clinical assessment, diagnostic, and treatment skills in adult and geriatric care, including management of chronic and complex conditions.
- Proficiency in patient education, health promotion, and disease prevention, with a focus on clear, compassionate communication.
- Experience collaborating within interdisciplinary care teams, including physicians, nurses, social workers, and other allied health professionals.
- Comfort using electronic health records (EHR) and basic digital tools for documentation, ordering tests, and tracking outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment while maintaining accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
- Commitment to person-centered, culturally sensitive care, with respect for diverse backgrounds and needs.
- Master’s degree in Nursing or higher from an accredited program; BLS and ACLS certifications preferred.
- Prior experience in primary care, internal medicine, geriatrics, or a similar outpatient setting is highly desirable.
- Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus, given the patient population in Miami, FL.
