We are seeking a dedicated and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team at a vibrant hotel. Duties
- Greet guests upon arrival with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage the check-in and check-out processes efficiently while maintaining accurate guest records.
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
- Maintain knowledge of hotel services, amenities, and local attractions to provide accurate information to guests.
- Operate phone systems to manage incoming calls, take reservations, and relay messages effectively.
- Assist with night audit duties as required, ensuring all financial transactions are accurately recorded.
- Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure rooms are ready for guests.
- Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining confidentiality of guest information.
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel front desk is preferred.
- Strong background in guest relations and customer service within the hospitality industry is essential.
- Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling multi-line phone systems is required.
- Familiarity with night audit processes is a plus but not mandatory.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on professionalism in all interactions.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Knowledge of hotels PMS system.
