What are the responsibilities and job description for the Substitute Teacher position at Leon County Schools?
Preference will be given to applicants with teaching experience and applicants with work experience in a school environment.
Must be twenty-one (21) years of age to be considered for employment.
High-school diploma or equivalent.
Required to work a minimum of twenty (20) days per semester.
Required to work four (4) days per month.
Required to work one (1) Monday, and one (1) Friday each month.
Hourly as needed. Hours worked vary depending on school location, and assigned teacher - substitutes must available for the full working day each day of availability.
Once hired, applicant will be required to complete on-line substitute training course.
While working in a substitute assignment, candidate will not be eligible for benefits.
