What are the responsibilities and job description for the Speech Language Pathology Assistant (Summer) (ESY) position at Leon County Schools?
- Adhere to Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and State Board Rule related to students with disabilities, and educational strategies for students with communication deficits.
- Follow state board rule and federal law in evaluating and providing speech and language services to students.
- Maintain documentation for state and federal compliance in the evaluation and services of students with speech and language needs.
- Monitor speech and language student progress based on ESY goals and objectives on IEPs.
This position is for the Extended School Year (ESY) Program.
