Job Summary:

Leon Construction is seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Architectural Intern to join our growing design-build team. This is an exciting opportunity for an aspiring architect to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of architectural design and construction within a dynamic and supportive environment. While this is primarily an unpaid internship, a stipend may be discussed further for shortlisted candidates. We are looking for individuals who are passionate about applying their skills and eager to contribute to real-world projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the creation of architectural designs and concepts.
• Produce high-quality renderings and visualizations of proposed projects.
• Prepare and modify CAD drawings and construction documents.
• Assist in the creation and review of blueprints, ensuring accuracy and compliance with codes.
• Conduct 3D simulations and virtual walkthroughs of designs.
• Support the design team with research, material selection, and presentation preparation.
• Collaborate effectively with team members on various design and construction tasks.
• Learn and adhere to company standards and best practices in design and documentation.

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in an accredited architectural program (preferred).
• Strong interest in architectural design, construction, and the design-build process.
• Proficiency or eagerness to learn architectural software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Rhino, 3ds Max, rendering software).
• Basic understanding of blueprint reading and architectural drafting principles.
• A strong portfolio (if available) demonstrating design capabilities and technical skills is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn and take on new challenges.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Compensation:
