Duties
- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer transactions accurately and swiftly
- Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and assist with product demonstrations when needed
- Handle cash, credit/debit card payments, and other forms of payment with precision and integrity
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area, restocking supplies and merchandising as necessary
- Upsell products by highlighting features and benefits to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
- Provide friendly phone etiquette when answering inquiries or assisting customers remotely
- Support stock replenishment efforts by stocking shelves and ensuring proper product placement in the front-end area
Skills
- Proficiency with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Previous supervising or leadership experience in retail or grocery store environments
- Ability to conduct product demos confidently to engage customers effectively
- Bilingual skills are highly valued for serving diverse customer needs
