Automation Engineer 2nd / 3rd Shift
Location: Ohio

Key Responsibilities:
- Support automation systems, PLCs, HMIs, and manufacturing equipment during project execution and day-to-day operations.
- Troubleshoot and resolve automation, controls, and equipment-related issues on the production floor to minimize downtime.
- Assist with system upgrades, startup/commissioning activities, and equipment integration projects.
- Collaborate with maintenance, engineering, and system owners to ensure operational efficiency and process reliability.
- Provide support for shift-based manufacturing and maintenance activities during 2nd or 3rd shifts.
Required Qualifications:
- Hands-on experience with industrial automation, PLC troubleshooting, and control systems.
- Strong understanding of manufacturing equipment and automated production systems.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot effectively during off-shift hours.
- Availability to work 2nd or 3rd shift schedules with flexibility for summer scheduling.
- Pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience is preferred but not required.
