Used Car Buyer - In House

Lenz Truck Center in Fond du lac, WI is seeking a motivated and detail oriented Buyer to join our buying team in Fond du Lac, WI. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing quality Trucks, Cars, Van's, and SUV'S which meet the needs of our customers and align with company standards. You will work closely with internal teams to ensure inventory levels are optimized and that vehicle acquisitions contribute to the overall success of the dealership.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source used automobiles that fit the dealership’s quality and pricing requirements.
• Negotiate purchase prices and terms with sellers to secure favorable deals.
• Analyze market trends and used vehicle values to make informed purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with sales and service departments to align purchasing with customer demand and service capabilities.
  
  
  

Requirements

• Previous experience in automotive purchasing or related field preferred, but not required.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
