This is a full-time, onsite position based in Gaithersburg, MD. The role requires 35-40 hours per week. Candidates requiring relocation will not be considered for the position.

At Miltenyi Biotec we are looking for an Intern (6 months) to support our training initiatives and enhance our learning programs. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in training administration while making a meaningful impact.

What You’ll Do:

• Use your scientific insight to participate in experiments centered of the delivery of genetic material by non-viral vectors, including LNPs.
• Use your lab skills to create LNP formulations.
• Record experimental details in a lab notebook and present your finding in small lab group meetings.
• Handle routine tasks such lab maintenance, cleaning, and organization of supplies in order to maintain a safe workspace.

What We’re Looking For:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a master’s degree in relevant engineering fields, such as Biomedical, Biomolecular, or Chemical Engineering.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse teams.
• Comfortable working with Microsoft Office, Google Suite, or similar tools.
• A proactive attitude with a passion for learning and development.

The anticipated base salary range has been established at $25/hour.  The salary of the finalist(s) selected for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, specialization, skills, abilities, and training. The above salary range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.  In addition to your salary, the Company offers a comprehensive benefits package including health, vision, and dental insurance, plus a 401(k) plan.  All benefits are subject to eligibility requirements. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses or commissions.
