Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join our dynamic media team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for producing high-quality video content, from initial concept through post-production, ensuring engaging and visually compelling results. This role requires a strong eye for detail, proficiency with industry-standard editing software, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. The Video Editor will collaborate closely with content creators, graphic designers, and videographers to deliver polished videos that meet brand standards and audience expectations.
Duties
- Edit raw footage into cohesive, engaging videos using Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, or other editing tools
- Incorporate motion graphics, visual effects, and animations utilizing Adobe After Effects, Cinema 4D, Maya, or similar software
- Enhance video quality through color correction and grading with Adobe Lightroom, Capture One, or Adobe Photoshop
- Create compelling graphics, titles, and typography to complement video content using Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign
- Manage and organize media assets efficiently via Adobe Bridge and FTP protocols
- Collaborate with content creators to develop storyboards and visual concepts aligned with project goals
- Ensure all video content adheres to brand guidelines and technical specifications for various platforms
- Assist in photo editing and photo manipulation tasks as needed for multimedia projects
- Maintain a consistent workflow within content management systems for timely delivery of projects
- Stay updated on industry trends in videography, motion graphics, 3D animation, and content creation techniques
Requirements
- Proven experience in video editing and post-production workflows with a strong portfolio showcasing diverse projects
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer, Cinema 4D, Maya or other relevant software
- Knowledge of photo editing tools such as Adobe Lightroom and Capture One for integrated multimedia projects
- Strong understanding of motion graphics, typography, 2D/3D animation (Maya or Cinema 4D), and visual effects techniques
- Experience with videography and filming processes is a plus
- Familiarity with FTP protocols and content management systems for file sharing and project organization
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple deadlines efficiently
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively within a creative team
- Ability to adapt quickly to new software tools or industry trends in digital media production
