About The Role

As a CBRE Workplace Experience Manager, you will beresponsible for managing employees that oversee the delivery of workplaceexperience services. Examples of services include Concierge, Reception, FacilitiesManagement and administrative office duties.

This job is part of the Workplace Experience function. Theyare responsible for providing world-class customer service to the clients andvisitors of a designated building.

What You'll Do

  • Provide formal supervision to employees. Monitor the training and development of staff. Conduct performance evaluations and coaching. Oversee the recruiting and hiring of new employees.
  • Coordinate and manage the team's daily activities. Establish work schedules, assign tasks, and cross-train staff. Set and track staff and department deadlines. Mentor and coach as needed.
  • Build and maintain a trusted client relationship. Negotiate with clients, partners, and associates to resolve conflicting priorities.
  • Ensure support provided by the team is efficient and consistent. Suggest process improvement efforts on a regular basis. Assist with developing strategic solutions.
  • Assess technological and training needs for Workplace Experience teams and clients. Always follow safety standards with employees, clients, and vendors.
  • Develop vendor partnerships with the intention of cost saving efforts. Manage negotiations for contract services. Confirm that all vendors have current proof of insurance and contractual documentation.
  • Oversee programs ran by third party vendors. This includes food delivery, organizing events, providing transportation, or mail distribution. Ensure all invoices for business services billed.
  • Ensure support provided by the team is efficient and consistent.
  • Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. Influence parties of shared interests to reach an agreement.
  • Apply knowledge of own discipline and how own discipline integrates with others to achieve team and departmental objectives.
  • Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve day-to-day and moderately complex issues which may or may not be evident in existing systems and processes.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Analyze data and insights to identify gaps, opportunities, and best practices for enhancing the employee experience.
  • Create and implement action plans, policies, programs and events that address the needs and preferences of different employee segments and client groups.
  • Collaborate with HR, managers, and other departments to ensure the effective communication, implementation, and evaluation of employee experience initiatives.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, and act as a liaison and advocate for employee and client interests.
  • Monitor and report on the impact and outcomes of employee experience initiatives and provide recommendations.
  • Build annual operational budgets and oversee monthly financials.
  • Oversee site budgets, forecasts, monthly accruals, and variance analysis with commentary

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years ofrelevant experience. In lieu of a degree, a combination of experience andeducation will be considered.
  • Experience in the areas of staffing, selection,training, development, coaching, mentoring, measuring, appraising, andrewarding performance and retention preferred.
  • Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive,complicated, and difficult information, convey performance expectations andhandle problems.
  • Leadership skills to motivate team impact onquality, efficiency, and effectiveness of the job discipline and department.
  • In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products.Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
  • Extensive organizational skills with a stronginquisitive mindset.

California Residents: CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Workplace Experience Manager position is $125,000 annually, and the maximum is $145,000, with up to 10% Annual Performance Bonus. The compensation that is offered to a successful candidate will depend on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience. This role will provide the following benefits: 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
