Job Summary

Humano, a third-party warehouse provider, is seeking Warehouse Supervisors for their site in Dayton, NJ. The supervisor will oversee warehouse operations and lead a team of warehouse personnel to ensure efficient workflow. This full-time position offers a Monday-Friday schedule 7am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise a team of warehouse personnel, providing guidance and support for smooth operations.
• Collaborate with other supervisors and managers to coordinate daily tasks and workflow.
• Monitor and enforce safety protocols to maintain a safe work environment.
• Allocate resources effectively to meet productivity targets and customer demands.
• Train and onboard new team members, ensuring clarity on roles and responsibilities.
• Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members.
• Address any issues or concerns raised by team members promptly.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and coordinate with other departments for order fulfillment.
• Identify areas for process improvement and implement necessary changes continuously.
  
  

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a supervisory role within the warehouse industry.
• Familiarity with overseeing employee production metrics and driving improvements.
• Experience in a third-party logistics (3PL) environment is a plus, or 1 year of warehouse experience.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Knowledge of safety regulations and willingness to enforce them.
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment like forklifts and clamp trucks is desirable.
• Excellent organizational and problems-solving abilities.
• High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications or training are beneficial.
