As a key member of the executive team, this role will define and implement the firm’s go-to-market strategy, manage a growing team of business development professionals, and ensure sales performance aligns with the company’s broader business goals.

- Lead the global business development and sales function, including team structure, hiring, onboarding, and ongoing coaching
- Develop and execute an integrated business development strategy to drive client acquisition, revenue growth, and market expansion
- Translate the annual business strategy into quarterly OKRs and actionable sales plans that drive measurable progress
- Manage and track key sales metrics, pipeline health, forecasting, and team performance across all geographies
- Serve as a trusted partner to the CEO and executive team, collaborating on strategic planning and driving alignment between sales and service delivery
- Maintain and grow executive-level relationships with Am Law 200 and UK Top 50 firms, supporting high-value sales cycles as a senior leader
- Provide oversight and optimization of the sales process, client retention programs, and cross-sell/up-sell strategies
- Lead the development of sales playbooks, enablement resources, and event strategy, in partnership with marketing
- Own regular reporting on sales performance, market trends, and business development impact to inform leadership decision-making
- Identify and evaluate new markets, customer segments, and service offerings to expand eSentio’s footprint
- 10 years of experience in business development, with at least 5 years in a sales leadership role in professional services and consulting for legal technology
- Proven track record of driving enterprise B2B sales cycles from prospecting through close, particularly with large law firms or corporate legal departments
- Deep familiarity with the legal services and legal tech space, including key buyer personas (CIOs, COOs, Managing Partners, etc.)
- Demonstrated ability to build and scale a sales organization, with strong experience in team management, territory planning, and quota setting
- Highly analytical and metrics-driven, with fluency in CRM systems, sales dashboards, and performance reporting
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with comfort presenting to senior executives and boards
- Strategic mindset, with the ability to execute tactically in a hands-on and collaborative environment
