Zurich North America is currently looking for a Vendor Manager to join the Finance Operations team in our North American Headquarters in Schaumburg, IL. As a Vendor Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the Surety Accounts Receivable team, including the receivable results and related customer service. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of insurance and have strong analytic and interpersonal skills, in order to guide the team to the expected service levels, follow defined procedures, and partner with internal Underwriting colleagues.

Responsibilities For This Role

• Meet regularly with team to discuss progress towards objectives
• Serve as subject matter expert on Surety business
• Ensure timely and quality customer service for self and team
• Collaborate with internal business colleagues
• Identify opportunities and implement process improvements

• Provide guidance and support for team members

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Finance Operations areaOR
• High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Finance Operations area
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with billing and receivables
• Knowledge of Insurance industry and Surety specifically
• Strong critical thinking and analytical skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Experience with SAP
• Strong Microsoft Office experience
  
  

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to apply—your unique background matters to us. For this position, the salary is $71,100.00 - $116,500.00, plus a short-term incentive bonus of 10%.
