What You'll Do
- Design and implement Agent-Based Simulations (ABS) and Discrete-Event Simulations (DES) of retail processes using AnyLogic and other leading tools.
- Model retail-specific dynamics, including customer journey, workforce scheduling, shelf replenishment, queue management, and supply chain logistics.
- Integrate simulation models with real-world IoT and retail data pipelines for real-time synchronization.
- Develop interactive digital twins of retail environments leveraging NVIDIA Omniverse and advanced visualization platforms.
- Collaborate with UX and design teams to create immersive 3D experiences that stakeholders can interact with for decision-making and scenario planning.
- Incorporate reinforcement learning and agentic AI into simulation environments to enhance realism and adaptability.
- Develop scalable pipelines for data ingestion, feature engineering, and model deployment within the simulation ecosystem.
- Collaboration & Leadership
- Work with retail domain experts to ensure models accurately reflect store operations and business processes.
- Proven experience with AnyLogic (Agent-Based, DES, and System Dynamics).
- Strong background in retail process modeling and operational research methods.
- Proficiency in Python, Java, C , and scripting languages for model integration.
- Familiarity with APIs, cloud platforms, and data integration pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, Unity, Unreal Engine, or similar platforms for real-time simulation visualization.
- Experience building interactive dashboards (Tableau, Power BI, Plotly, Dash) for simulation results.
- Experience with machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- Strong background in time series forecasting, optimization algorithms, and reinforcement learning.
- Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks for intelligent agent development.
- Deep understanding of retail operations, customer flow, logistics, and workforce optimization.
