Required Skills
UI/UX Game Designer Responsibilities:
- Create clear UX flows and UI designs from layout to prototyping, rapid iteration and review, to final quality
- Work with 2D/3D Software packages (Photoshop, Figma, Unity, etc.) to create clear designs and game-ready assets
- Help drive a consistent visual language within the UI and a standardized approach to implementation
- Work in a fast-paced rapidly iterative studio
- Work on live service games including A/B testing UI flows and regular user feedback sessions
- Work with the art and engineering teams to guide creative and engine-efficient solutions for the UI
- Collaborate with tools and engine teams to continually improve upon our custom workflows and technology
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5 years of experience in UI/UX Design with at least 1 shipped live-service product
- Ability to clearly communicate and present new design concepts concisely in both technical and non-technical manners
- Experience creating understandable spatial UI to solve interaction challenges in Virtual or Mixed Reality
- Experience designing for free-to-play game interfaces and monetization
- Proven strategic thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience working with Unity and Unity canvas components
- Online portfolio showing UI examples from shipped products for Free-to-Play and Live Service games
- Game or interaction development experience across multiple surfaces (console, mobile, VR, MR)
- Experienced identifying, learning, and teaching new tools and techniques
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with pipelines that leverage AI for content creation
- Successfully launched VR, MR, or AR products
