Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- Thorough understanding of fundamentals of video capture, including composition, continuity and best practices
- Proficiency capturing video with the Apple iPhone and post-production with Adobe Premiere Pro, including the creation of motion graphics, sound sweetening and color correction
- Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, and manipulating graphics and layers for use in motion graphics
- Understanding of the export/encoding practices for delivery across a wide range of channels including YouTube, Vimeo, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat, Stream, etc
- Experience building shot lists and other necessary pre-production documents
- Experience integrating brand, accessibility, and quality standards across all deliverables
- Ability to incorporate feedback efficiently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to manage multiple deliverables while maintaining attention to detail and quality
- 5 years of experience recording and editing video in a professional setting
- Experience with Adobe AfterEffects
- Completion of FAA Drone Certification Course and/or experience shooting video with drones
What you'll do on a typical day:
- As a Videographer/Editor for XPO, you'll use your knowledge and skill to help tell our story
- Coordinate with stakeholders to organize and schedule video shoots for internal training projects
- Capture professional quality video footage on location or in a studio setting using the Apple iPhone
- Review and log captured footage in preparation for postproduction
- Edit training modules to script and brand guidelines, and guiding the approval process with stakeholders
