Key Responsibilities
- Produce high-quality documentation like user guides, API references, white papers, training materials, and release notes, ensuring accuracy and clarity.
- Strong understanding of the navigation systems being documented, including the technical features and functionalities.
- Work closely with subject matter experts, engineers, and other team members to gather information, clarify requirements, and ensure documentation aligns with product development.
- Define documentation scope, outlining project timelines, and managing the overall documentation process.
- Maintain and update existing documentation to reflect product changes and new features.
- Review and edit technical documentation to ensure consistency, accuracy, and adherence to style guides.
- Ensure accuracy and consistency in technical documentation.
- Conduct thorough research to gather accurate technical information.
- Provide guidance and training to junior technical writers.

Qualifications:
- BA degree in English, Journalism, or Technical Writing.
- Three (3) years of experience in DoD technical writing, to include: writing technical documentation, procedures and guidelines for C4ISR systems or equipment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with content management systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- US Citizenship required.
- Must possess or be able to obtain a Department of Defense (DoD) Secret security clearance.
- Active Interim Secret or final Secret clearance is preferred.
