As a Manager, Supply Chain Operations, you will oversee and manage all activities related to the procurement of materials, products, and services for the organization. Job Responsibilities
- Manages the entire procurement cycle including supplier selection, evaluation, approval, negotiation, purchase order creation, delivery tracking, and inventory coordination.
- Directly leads the procurement team and oversees outside vendor services; develops and mentors supply chain team members to improve efficiency and professional growth.
- Manages incoming material receiving and inventory control processes to ensure material availability and accuracy.
- Optimizes inventory stock levels through MRP parameter maintenance and ABC cycle counting.
- Collaborates with production, finance, and sales teams to forecast demand and effectively manage stock levels.
- Coordinates cross-functional efforts to resolve material shortages and expedite critical components.
- Identifies and evaluates suppliers, negotiates contracts, and establishes long-term partnerships to ensure quality, reliability, and cost effectiveness.
- Partners with corporate supply chain teams to drive cost savings and efficiency initiatives.
- Continuously identifies and implements process improvements to enhance supply chain efficiency and sustainability.
- Tracks key performance indicators (OTD, TAT, inventory turns, cycle count accuracy) and drives continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintains accurate procurement records and data within ERP/MRP systems.
- Ensures compliance with company policies, ethical standards, and legal requirements.
- Bachelor"s degree in Supply Chain, Operations, or related field; or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of experience in supply chain or materials management with supervisory experience.
- 5 years of experience working with MRP/ERP systems and S&OP processes.
- 5 years of experience using Excel tools including pivot tables, advanced formulas, and data visualization.
- Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience working in the aviation industry and/or similar manufacturing-based environment.
- Experience applying Lean or Six Sigma principles in material flow optimization.
- Proven ability to develop teams and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
