QA Supervisor - Print & Mail Operations

About The Supervisor Role
The QA Supervisor oversees quality assurance processes within print and mail operations, ensuring compliance with standards and continuous improvement. This role requires strong technical expertise, leadership skills, and the ability to manage team performance and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily QA activities for print and mail production teams.
- Manage hiring, training, performance appraisals, and pay reviews for 7-10 employees.
- Develop and implement Total Quality Management (TQM) programs and process improvement initiatives.
- Create and maintain quality improvement roadmaps and baseline performance parameters.
- Coordinate cross-functional efforts to ensure high-quality services that meet customer needs.
- Educate and coach team members on technical skills, soft skills, and business domain knowledge.
- Prepare and deliver program communications, training plans, and reward systems.
- Support transitions, hiring needs, and compliance with company policies and standards.
- Solve operational problems using technical expertise and established
- Provide support to a 24/6 team, including availability for Saturday check-ins and occasional on-site visits to ensure smooth operations.
- Leadership & Management: Ability to lead teams, manage performance, and foster a culture of quality.
- Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong capability to identify issues, evaluate solutions, and implement improvements.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for team coaching and cross-functional collaboration.
- Organizational: Strong planning and prioritization skills to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Technical Tools: Proficiency in QA software, reporting tools, and MS Office Suite.
