The role requires a strong work ethic, a high degree of accountability, initiative, and the ability to build relationships with internal and external colleagues.
This is a full-time position and starts at $25.23 an hour and increases to $34.32 based on SkyWest experience.

- Work alongside Envoy and AA personnel in the Station Operation Center for the ORD hub as well as associated vendors
- Support the SkyWest Airlines operation in ORD by communicating with SkyWest OCC and local department management
- Possess the ability to document and maintain detailed record keeping of any safety or performance trends that arise
- Advocates for SkyWest Airlines' best interest by promoting a safe and reliable operation in ORD by escalating different issues in real time involving gate assignments, aircraft towing, crew movement, and other airport operations functions
- Attend daily performance and safety meetings
- Monitor operational performance and submit delay review requests when required
- Previous airline ground operational experience
- Proficient in basic computer programs
- Multi-task on a computer, with multiple programs and systems operating at once
- Effectively communicate with a variety of internal and external work groups, often in critical and stressful situations
- Experience with AA network systems and operational tools
- Experience working at an airline hub
- Understanding of an airline hub operation control center
- Previous airline operational leadership experience
- Working knowledge of ORD airfield and ground operations
- Strong knowledge of airline performance metrics and nomenclature
- 18 years of age or older
- Have a High School Diploma or GED
- Possess a valid, unrestricted state-issued driver's license
- Legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Pass a pre-placement background check and drug screen
- Possess all necessary credentials to obtain airport credentials if needed
- Sit at a computer for extended periods
- This is not a Department of Transportation safety-sensitive position
