Job Title: Sr Mechanical Engineer

Pay Range: 53.50$-66.75$ per hour
What's the Job?
- Lead sustaining engineering activities to support ongoing manufacturing and improve product reliability.
- Identify and implement mechanical design, cost, and reliability improvements for existing DNA sequencing systems.
- Perform system-level testing, root cause analysis, and corrective actions for mechanical failures.
- Design mechanical components, assemblies, and test fixtures using SolidWorks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technical issues and support lifecycle management initiatives.
- B.S. in Mechanical Engineering with 8 years, or M.S. with 5 years of mechanical engineering experience.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, mechanical design principles, and GD&T.
- Experience working with precision assemblies, materials selection, and manufacturing processes.
- Proven ability to lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
- Experience in sustaining engineering; FDA-regulated product experience is a plus.
