The Sr. Production Manager oversees the full production lifecycle for docuseries, from early planning through daily execution and wrap, while also supporting operational setup during the development phase for reality projects. The position leads budgeting, scheduling, staffing, vendor onboarding, and compliance throughout development, pre-production, and production for docuseries. For reality projects, the role focuses exclusively on early-stage setup and handoff. Overall, this position ensures operational alignment, efficiency, and continuity across both genres.

DOCUSERIES
Development & Prep:
- Refine budgets, schedules, staffing, and vendor plans; build prep timelines and logistics; lead onboarding and compliance setup.
- Manage daily operations with third-party partners; maintain schedules, resolve issues, and ensure continuity from prep to wrap.
- Oversee active budgets, cost reports, invoice reconciliation, and cost controls.
- Ensure adherence to NBCU safety, legal, and privacy standards; oversee incident reporting and EHS and Security coordination.
- Improve production workflows and implement streamlined processes and tools
- Partner with EPs, tech teams, post-production, and internal groups; escalate key issues as needed.
Early Planning:
- Build preliminary budgets, schedules, workflows, and staffing projections with Development; identify risks and operational needs.
- Lead vendor vetting, insurance and cyber/privacy reviews, and business-affairs approvals; create startup docs and templates.
- Maintain organized development files and deliver complete handoff packages for Production Managers.
- Standardize templates, trackers, and processes; improve operational efficiency and maintain clear records.
- Perform additional duties assigned by leadership.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in production management or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of production operations, planning, and execution.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required.
- Ability to work in varying on site environments and weather conditions.
- Working knowledge of health, safety, and compliance protocols.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Power BI, Airtable, and internet tools.
- Willingness to travel, including weekends and short notice assignments.
- Ability to support a 24/7 production workflow including late or last-minute scheduling
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to multitask in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
- Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Collaborative and proactive communicator.
- Willingness to work flexible hours in a 24/7 production environment.
- Must be willing to work in the greater Miami, FL area.
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have a valid driver's license.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the U.S.
