Major Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable C# code.
- Decompile existing DLLs to understand errors and extend the code.
- Participate in a rotating on-call support cycle and manage multiple projects with limited oversight, adhering to quality and output standards.
- Diagnose and resolve business system issues escalated by users, business analysts, or other company personnel, seeking out relevant information to problem-solve.
- Prevent and address potential user or back-end process issues to ensure system stability.
- Create and maintain interfaces for data integration into and out of Love’s business systems.
- Demonstrate strong customer service skills while working with IT shared service teams and users across multiple offices to ensure seamless operations.
- Collaborate with team members, business analysts, and subject matter experts to identify system solution options.
- Take initiative to ensure project and issue resolution outcomes meet requirements.
- Understand and apply software development life cycle (SDLC) concepts to effectively support business applications.
- Coordinate with the Development Manager to prioritize development tasks and escalate critical issues.
- Participate in and conduct regular peer code reviews to ensure development of best practices.
- Aid in testing, change management, deployment, and hyper care as needed.
- Support and coach others by sharing knowledge, resources, ideas, and solutions.
- Bring a positive attitude and contribute to a healthy, productive teamwork environment.
- Perform additional tasks as needed to support the development team and ensure the stability of Musket Corp’s ETRM system, including a commitment to learning new software platforms and applications.
- Understanding of ASP.NET framework, SQL Server, and design/architectural patterns.
- Familiarity with Internet Information Services (IIS), web services, and three-tier architecture (client, web servers, database).
- Build and maintain application programming interfaces (APIs).
- Ability to efficiently prioritize and effectively manage multiple simultaneous projects.
- Strong verbal and oral communication skills, ability to interact professionally and positively with end users, colleagues, and leadership.
- Highly adaptable to team needs, flexibility in taking on various roles.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience with as a .NET Developer or Application Developer using C#.
- 3 years of SQL Server development experience preferred.
- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST/RPC) a plus.
- Experience with RightAngle ETRM application a plus.
- Experience with SSIS and SSRS a plus.
- Understanding of Azure DevOps and GIT branching (code repository) is a plus.
- Requires prolonged sitting, some bending and stooping.
- Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds.
- Manual dexterity sufficient to operate a computer keyboard and calculator.
- Requires a normal range of hearing and vision.
