Overview
GovCIO is currently hiring a skilled SSRS Engineer to design, develop, and maintain SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and dashboards. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SQL development, data visualization, and report automation to support business intelligence needs. This will be a fully remote position located within the United States.
Responsibilities
- Develop, modify, and optimize SSRS reports from various data sources.
- Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions for data extraction.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather reporting requirements.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in reports and dashboards.
- Maintain and enhance ETL processes using SSIS.
- Troubleshoot and resolve reporting issues efficiently.
- Implement best practices for performance tuning and report optimization.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelors Degree and 8 years experience
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server, SSIS, and SSAS.
- Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to explain complex concepts to a wide variety of individuals with varying technical skills.
- Understanding of Scrum and Agile.
- Must reside and work within the continental U.S. and have the ability to obtain and maintain a suitability/public trust clearance
- Software development/engineering background.
- Familiarity with serverless cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with AWS and Azure.
