SQL DBA
Location: Remote within US

Job Duties
- Installation and Configuration: Setting up and configuring database systems and serversaccording to the organization's needs.
- Maintenance and Upgrades: Performingregular maintenance, applying patches and updates, and upgrading databasesoftware to ensure optimal performance.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuouslymonitoring database performance, identifying bottlenecks, and implementingsolutions to improve speed and efficiency.
- Security: Implementing and managingsecurity measures to protect sensitive data, including access controls andauthentication.
- Backup and Recovery: Establishingand executing backup and recovery plans to prevent data loss and ensurebusiness continuity.
- Troubleshooting: Diagnosingand resolving technical issues and errors within the database environment.
- Data Integrity: Ensuringthe accuracy, consistency, and reliability of the data stored within thedatabases.
- User Management: Creatinguser accounts and assigning permissions to control access to databases andtheir data.
- Capacity Planning: Monitoringand planning for future storage and resource needs to accommodate datagrowth.
- Collaboration: Workingwith other departments and developers to understand data requirements andintegrate databases with applications.
